If It was a movement. Reina Sofía Museum
Yesterday was a really special day for the children in 2B. We went to the Reina Sofía Museum and took part in a workshop called If It was a movement -Si fuera un movimiento-. Apart from having lots of fun with the different activities, we also learnt a lot about Art and the Arts. Thanks to our two magnificient guides (a musician and a dancer) we visited some rooms of the museum and found out lots of facts about the masterpieces and their creators. Our guides used body movements, music and our imagination to draw us in and explain all these wonderful works of art for us.
Below, I have posted some photographs that I took this morning. Children from 2A, even if you haven ' t gone yet, I know you will like looking at them. Enjoy!

Sharing our feelings
Recently, we have been studying different feelings and moods in English. Last Friday, we put into practice the vocabulary we have been learning by drawing a picture of ourselves and describing the we way we felt. The only condition we decided on was that we weren't allowed to use the word 'happy', so we looked for some synonyms (otherwise almost everyone would write the same thing without thinking of other words that have the same or a similar meaning). Below, there are some examples from both classes with exactly what we got up to!

Solar System
Before starting our new unit about animals in Science tomorrow, I wanted to post these photographs of what we have been doing in Arts and Crafts over the last few weeks. We coloured these pictures with tempera paints. We selected the Sun and Jupiter (I chose this planet because it' s the biggest and all of us love it -someone even told me that they want to move and live there!-). Now they form a part of the decorations on the upper floor.
